From an early age, Marissa possessed two passions that would define everything she built: a love of fashion and an instinct for helping others. She pursued the latter through nursing — earning two degrees in nursing and health science, and built a career grounded in patience, empathy, and genuine care.
After her first years as a nurse, Marissa spent a decade living in Turkey, traveling throughout Europe and immersing herself in the fashion cultures of Milan, Paris, London, Copenhagen, Barcelona, and beyond. It was this rare exposure to how different cultures approach beauty, craft, and dressing — that catalyzed her desire to build something of her own.
At Bliss Bridal, those two threads come together. The global eye she cultivated abroad shapes every gown she selects. And the empathy she refined through nursing shapes every appointment she leads, while listening carefully, moving patiently, and making sure every bride feels confident, comfortable, and completely herself.
